These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
1
About these terms
These terms apply to classes and booking services supplied by PK Models & School Limited, trading as PK Agency and PK Performing Arts (company number 07508835).
Different payment and cancellation arrangements apply depending on whether you book a £1 trial, a Musical Babies monthly block or a rolling monthly enrolment. The relevant arrangement is explained below.
All bookings are subject to a suitable class being available.
A submitted enrolment request does not guarantee a place. We will confirm the place and payment arrangement separately.
We may contact you about your booking, your child's attendance, timetable changes, safeguarding matters and other information needed to provide the class safely.
2
£1 trial bookings
A £1 trial is available for a child's first session in the selected class, subject to availability.
Trials must be booked at least 12 hours before the class begins. Dates inside that notice period will not appear in the online booking form.
The booking applies only to the class and date shown in the order confirmation. It does not reserve an ongoing weekly place.
If you need to change the date, contact us as soon as possible. Transfers depend on availability and cannot be guaranteed.
If PK Performing Arts cancels the trial and cannot offer a suitable alternative, we will refund the £1 payment.
After the trial, Baby Dance and Baby Ballet require monthly enrolment if your child wishes to continue. Musical Babies can be booked by monthly block.
3
Musical Babies monthly bookings
Musical Babies is purchased as a one-off monthly block and does not renew automatically.
Each remaining session costs £5. If you join after the month has started, the website price reduces so that you pay only for the remaining scheduled sessions in that block.
Your place is reserved for the purchased block only. A new booking is needed for the following month.
Missed sessions are not normally refunded or credited because the place has been reserved for your child.
If PK Performing Arts cancels a session, we will offer an appropriate replacement, credit or refund for the affected session.
4
Rolling monthly enrolment
Monthly enrolment reserves your child's regular weekly place and supports consistent progress throughout the academic year.
Your monthly fee depends on the length of the class: £19.58 for 30 minutes, £23.50 for 45 minutes or £27.42 for 60 minutes.
Each monthly fee is an equal instalment towards 47 teaching weeks across the year. It is not a charge for the exact number of lessons in each calendar month.
Planned school closures are already accounted for in the calculation, so the monthly amount stays the same during shorter and longer teaching months.
Payments are collected automatically through Stripe on the date confirmed when we create your subscription, normally the first day of each month.
Your child's place is confirmed only after we accept the enrolment and the required payment arrangement is active.
Payments must remain up to date. If a payment fails, please contact us promptly so we can help resolve it.
If a student attends more than one enrolled class, the relevant monthly amounts are added together.
To add, remove or change classes, please contact us. Changes depend on class availability and may change the total monthly fee.
Changes to fees
If we need to change an ongoing fee, we will provide reasonable advance notice. You may end the enrolment before the new price takes effect by following the cancellation process below.
5
Attendance and missed classes
Regular attendance helps children build confidence, friendships and skills.
Please tell us in advance whenever possible if your child will be absent.
Fees are not normally refunded or credited when a child misses a class, including through illness or holidays, because their place and staffing remain reserved.
Please arrive in time for the class. Late entry may be restricted if it would disrupt the session or make participation unsafe.
For Early Years classes, the child's responsible adult remains on the premises and participates or supports them as directed by the teacher.
Children should wear comfortable, safe clothing and suitable footwear. Class-specific uniform guidance will be shared where applicable.
6
Cancelling monthly enrolment
Monthly enrolment continues on a rolling basis until cancelled. To leave, please give one full calendar month's written notice by emailing info@pkmodelagency.co.uk.
Example: if notice is received at any point during October, November is the full notice month and the enrolment ends on 30 November. Fees remain payable through the notice period and your child may continue attending during that time.
Please do not cancel the Stripe payment directly before we confirm the enrolment end date, as outstanding fees may still be due.
Memberships cannot normally be paused or held because many classes operate with waiting lists.
After leaving, a student may ask to rejoin after two months, subject to class availability.
Nothing in this section limits any cancellation or refund right that the law gives you.
Online sign-up and cooling-off rights
Where a statutory cooling-off right applies to an online enrolment, you may cancel within the applicable period. If you ask us to begin classes during that period, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already supplied. Contact us promptly if you wish to cancel.
7
Timetable and class changes
Published dates, teachers, rooms and class groupings may sometimes change. We will give reasonable notice where possible.
Classes do not run during the planned closure dates shown in the current academic calendar.
If we cancel a class, we may offer a replacement session, credit or suitable fee adjustment depending on the circumstances and booking type.
If we make a significant ongoing change that materially affects the service you agreed to, please contact us. We will discuss a suitable alternative or ending the affected enrolment without an additional cancellation charge.
8
Health, safety, safeguarding and behaviour
You must provide accurate contact details and tell us about medical conditions, allergies, injuries, disabilities, learning differences or additional needs relevant to safe participation.
Please keep this information and your emergency contact details up to date.
If a child is unwell or has a contagious illness, they should not attend until it is safe to return.
Children and adults must treat staff, students and other families respectfully and follow reasonable safety instructions.
We may pause or end attendance where serious or repeated behaviour creates a safety or welfare concern, or where fees remain unpaid. We will act reasonably, explain the concern and consider any relevant additional needs.
Our teaching team is appropriately trained and enhanced DBS checked. Safeguarding concerns can be raised confidentially with a member of the PK team.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9
Photography and video
Photography and video permission is requested separately from acceptance of these School Terms. You may choose yes or no when completing the booking form. Please contact us if you later wish to change that choice. Safeguarding requirements may mean that some event or performance arrangements are communicated separately.
10
Personal information and privacy
We collect parent and child information needed to manage bookings, payments, attendance, communication, health, safety and safeguarding. This may include medical or additional-needs information where it is relevant to caring for and teaching your child.
Booking and payment information may be processed through WordPress, WooCommerce and Stripe.
We may also use secure systems for registers, scheduling, contact information and permissions.
Information is not sold. It is shared only where needed to provide our services, meet legal or safeguarding duties, or operate the systems supporting the school.
For fuller information about how data is used, retained and protected, and how to exercise data-protection rights, please read our Privacy Policy.
11
Questions and complaints
Please contact us promptly if you have a question, concern or complaint. We will aim to understand the issue and respond fairly. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, without removing any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
