Welcome to PK
PK Performing Arts is a family-run school where children and young people develop confidence, creativity, resilience and teamwork alongside their performance skills.
Founded in 1979 as a professional modelling agency, PK entered a new chapter when sisters Lisa and Claire took over in 2011 and expanded the school’s dance, performing arts and industry training.

Membership, prices and enrolment
Most regular classes use rolling monthly enrolment. The monthly payment reserves the child’s regular weekly place and spreads the cost of 47 teaching weeks evenly across 12 months.

- An enrolment request does not guarantee a place. PK will check availability and confirm the place separately.
- The place is confirmed only when PK accepts the enrolment and the required payment arrangement is active.
- Fees remain payable during scheduled school closure periods because the annual teaching cost is divided into equal monthly payments.
- Industry Masterclasses can be booked for £8 per session on a pay-as-you-go basis or by monthly enrolment at £27.42 per month.

Attendance and absence
Regular attendance supports progress, safe teaching and preparation for examinations or performances. Please notify PK if a child will be absent.
Missed classes are not normally refundable or transferable. Where PK cancels a class, the school will communicate the appropriate arrangement.
Cancellation and notice
Rolling monthly enrolment continues until cancelled. To leave, parents must give one full calendar month’s written notice by email.
Fees remain payable throughout the notice period and the student may continue attending. Please do not cancel the payment directly before PK confirms the enrolment end date.
Academic year
The programme follows the PK academic calendar, including teaching weeks, closures, rehearsals, examination periods, festivals, performances and special events.
Dates may occasionally change. PK will communicate amendments in advance wherever possible.
Exams and performance
Depending on age, discipline and readiness, students may be offered RAD, ISTD or LAMDA examinations alongside school shows, festivals, showcases and workshops.
Entries, costumes, rehearsals and external fees are arranged separately and will always be explained before commitment.
Industry Masterclasses
Saturday workshops for ages 6+ may cover acting for camera, self-taping, auditions, modelling, catwalk, casting, musical theatre, hair and make-up, and industry Q&A sessions.
These one-hour sessions are pay-as-you-go and can be booked separately.
PK Agency
PK Agency provides professional representation across television, film, theatre, commercials and modelling. Representation is separate from school enrolment and is never required to attend PK classes.
The school’s agency connection gives students access to genuine industry knowledge, but professional representation remains subject to a separate application and assessment.
Communication
Important updates, events and reminders are sent using the contact details supplied during enrolment. Parents are responsible for keeping email, telephone, emergency, medical and permissions information current.
Safeguarding and conduct
Every child’s welfare is the highest priority. The teaching team is DBS checked and safeguarding trained. Parents should share any medical condition, allergy, injury, disability, learning difference or additional need that may affect safe participation.
Students and families are expected to treat staff and other families with respect and follow arrival, collection, studio and photography rules.
