Welcome to PK Performing Arts in Leicester — where every child can Be You. Believe. Belong.
We are a family-run performing arts school led by sisters Lisa and Claire, both of whom worked professionally within the industry before taking over the agency and school in 2011. We offer fun, confidence-building classes for babies, children and teenagers, helping every student grow in confidence, creativity and performance skills in a safe, supportive environment.
Our timetable includes baby and early-years classes, ballet, modern, tap, commercial dance, musical theatre, acting, group singing, acro and conditioning, catwalk confidence, screen acting and industry masterclasses. We also offer adult Dance Fit and private tuition.
Whether a student joins us for enjoyment, to build confidence, work towards recognised examinations or develop professional performance and modelling skills, our classes give every individual the opportunity to learn, grow and shine.
All teachers are DBS checked, and our close connection with PK Agency gives students access to genuine industry knowledge, guidance and additional opportunities.

Adult Dance Fit is £6.50 pay as you go, or £6 per class when booked as a package.
Monthly Enrolment
PK Performing Arts is an enrolment school. Most classes are booked by monthly enrolment rather than week-by-week. Families can choose to book a £1 trial first or enrol directly if they already know which class they would like to join.
The only pay-as-you-go classes are Adult Dance Fit, Tuesday Musical Babies and Baby Movers, and Saturday Industry Masterclasses.

A fun, music-led class for babies and toddlers with their grown-up. Children explore rhythm, movement, singing and sensory play while developing early confidence, coordination and a love of music.

A playful movement class for confident walkers. Children develop balance, coordination, rhythm and confidence through simple dance activities, imaginative movement and music, with parents staying in the room for support.

Musical Theatre
A lively triple-threat class combining singing, dancing and acting. Students develop character, storytelling, stage presence and confidence through songs, scenes and show-style routines.

Catwalk Confidence
A confidence-building class focusing on posture, walking technique, movement, poses and presentation. Students develop stage presence and modelling skills through fun catwalk routines and practical industry exercises.

A structured performance class developing acting technique, voice, character, expression and storytelling through musical theatre and scripted work. Students may also work towards recognised LAMDA examinations.

A combined syllabus class introducing classical ballet and tap technique. Students develop posture, control, rhythm, musicality and accurate footwork while working towards recognised graded training.

A combined class developing modern dance technique alongside musical theatre performance. Students build strength, coordination, flexibility, musicality and confidence through syllabus-based exercises and show-style choreography.

A confidence-building class focusing on posture, walking technique, movement, poses and presentation. Students develop stage presence and modelling skills through fun catwalk routines and practical industry exercises.
